This position will lead the manufacturing functions of the company and is critical to ensure the manufacturing excellence of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality control, regulatory compliance, supply chain management, and manufacturing management within the medical device industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes and procedures, ensuring efficiency and scalability while maintaining product quality.
  • Identify and source resources required to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead process development, qualification, and validation efforts for the company.
  • Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on manufacturing performance to senior management
  • Manage the entire supply chain process, from sourcing and production to delivery and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services.
  • Regularly evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions to meet quality and delivery standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance, operation, and optimization of the company’s ERP system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry, reporting, and system updates within the ERP platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing experience in the medical device industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and FDA regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with other departments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
