Job Description: The Training Manager is responsible for developing and implementing internal and external educational programs that reinforce the value proposition of AccuTec’s AccuThrive and AccuForge medical brands. This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and execution of product and clinical training curriculums for new hires and existing associates within the AccuTec Medical division. The Training Manager will develop a software-based training platform to act as AccuTec Medical’s training hub. In this role, the associate will apply project management techniques to ensure projects are completed on time and within established budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train coach and develop salespeople in the field in collaboration with sales management
- Collaborate with national and international sales managers to implement sales strategy, style, and technique.
- Design and develop clinical product training material for new hire training, re-launch training, National and Regional Sales Meetings
- Develop the first 12-month onboarding program for new hires
- Oversees the use of learning management systems to provide digital education for new and existing training needs
- Collaborate with product managers and marcom manager to ensure alignment with value proposition, product position, and brand messaging.
- Collaborates continuously with internal stakeholders to ensure training aligns with business goals and objectives
- Develop product training documents for surgeons, technicians, residents, and other health care providers.
- Stay current with the latest medical procedures, trends, and credentialing requirements to implement the latest intelligence into the training program
- Managing key opinion leader collaboration
- Conduct teaching institution trainings for residency programs
Competencies
- Understanding of the clinical selling environment
- Proven knowledge of sales methodology, process, and tools, and understanding of adult learning principles
- High-level skills in content development, including workshops, didactics, research, etc.
- Strong oral and written skills and experience in the in-person delivery of training and educational content
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently
- High-level organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to interpret clinical research and simplify it to fit a clinical selling environment
Education / Experience:
- Travel up to 50%
- BA in science (RN preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical medical training experience
- Exceptional project planning and project management skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude with passion to lead a core part of the commercial experience
- Experience developing clinical and residency training programs
- Experience working with salespeople in their territories
