This is a high-impact, field-based sales role focused on direct sales of simulation products that support critical healthcare and first responder training across a range of environments. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing direct sales team at a global healthcare simulation company known for its long-standing presence in the market and commitment to enhancing training outcomes for medical professionals, EMS, fire departments, and educators.
Reporting to the Global Director of Sales, the Account Executive will play a key role in driving revenue, managing accounts, and expanding the company’s reach in advanced simulation products. With over 80% of the company’s business historically international, the U.S. market represents a major growth opportunity, and this role will be central to that expansion.
Responsiblities
- Managing direct sales activities within assigned U.S. territories, with a focus on hospitals, EMS, fire departments, K–12 institutions, universities, and government agencies.
- Operating independently to meet quarterly and annual sales targets, with a focus on high-value products such as AI-enabled mannequins and clinical simulation solutions.
- Collaborating with leadership on territory development and account strategy as the sales organization scales.
- Regular travel (up to 70%) to engage with current and prospective clients, attend trade shows, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Participating in a multi-stage sales process and contributing to the expansion of the U.S. direct sales infrastructure.
- Educating customers on the use, benefits, and impact of healthcare simulation technologies in improving training and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare product sales, preferably in simulation, medical equipment, or medical devices.
- A strong comfort level with independent, travel-intensive roles (“road warrior” mindset).
- Proven ability to engage a variety of stakeholders, including simulation lab staff, emergency response leaders, and educators.
- A team-oriented attitude with a self-starter approach.
- Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Preferred: Clinical background (e.g., paramedic, nurse, or other first responder experience)
Reports to: Global Director of Sales
Number of Reports: Individual Contributor
Base Compensation: ~$70,000
First Year Compensation at Plan (OTE): ~$120,000
Travel: Up to 70%
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in a related sales role
Degree: Bachelor’s preferred; medical or clinical training a plus
Location: Any major U.S. city; must be located near a major airport
Hybrid or Remote Possible? Yes – Field-based, remote with travel
Travel %: 70%+
Other: Bonus per product sold; performance-based incentives
Target Start Date: ASAP
