Pre and Post Sales Laboratory Solutions Consultant – Pacific North West – 3605945

Join a leading diagnostics organization seeking a Laboratory Solutions Consultant to provide pre- and post-sales support for complex laboratory automation and IT solutions across health systems and commercial laboratories.

This is a highly consultative role focused on evaluating laboratory workflows, designing automation solutions, and demonstrating financial and operational value (ROI). The LSC partners closely with sales teams to drive successful solution adoption and ensure accurate configuration of automation and IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales teams to design, position, and deliver automation and IT solutions, clearly articulating workflow efficiencies, clinical value, and ROI
  • Conduct workflow analyses (SWFT) and use data insights to develop compelling business cases and solution recommendations
  • Support full sales cycle execution including account strategy, presentations, evaluations, proposal development, and closing of automation deals
  • Act as a subject matter expert on lab workflows (pre/post-analytical, high-volume environments, total lab automation, digital morphology, flow cytometry)
  • Collaborate with internal teams, distributors, and partners to qualify opportunities, advance deals, and ensure accurate system configuration and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to marketing and business strategy through competitive insights, product feedback, and identification of new opportunities
  • Participate in customer events, trade shows, and training programs to drive product awareness and adoption

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry
  • 3–5+ years of laboratory experience (management experience preferred)
  • MT (ASCP) or MLT certification required
  • Strong understanding of lab workflows
  • Proven communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to engage stakeholders from lab staff to leadership
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements
