Senior Market Access and Reimbursement Manager – Neuromodulation – Remote (Central, US)
We’re partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing medical technology company focused on advancing non-invasive neuromodulation and connected health solutions. The organization is transforming patient care through evidence-based technologies designed to improve outcomes while reducing healthcare utilization. As the company prepares for multiple product and technology launches, they are seeking a Senior Manager, Market Access & Reimbursement to build and lead market access strategy across commercial and government payers.
This newly created position represents a unique opportunity to establish the market access function within a high-growth environment. The individual will be responsible for developing coverage and reimbursement strategies, engaging payer stakeholders, evaluating market access pathways, and ensuring patients have access to innovative therapies. The role offers significant visibility with executive leadership and the opportunity to directly influence the commercial success of current and future technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive market access and reimbursement strategies across commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure coverage pathways for innovative medical technologies and connected health solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with payer organizations, medical directors, reimbursement stakeholders, and policy decision-makers.
- Create and implement strategic plans to support favorable coverage, coding, payment, and policy outcomes.
- Assess reimbursement landscapes, healthcare policy changes, and market access trends that may impact commercial success.
- Develop and communicate compelling clinical and economic value propositions to support payer adoption.
- Leverage health economics and outcomes research to strengthen reimbursement and coverage strategies.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Executive Leadership teams to align market access initiatives.
- Support evidence generation strategies and identify opportunities to strengthen payer engagement through clinical and economic data.
- Provide reimbursement expertise and guidance to internal teams, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor competitive activity, payer coverage policies, and emerging reimbursement opportunities.
- Establish pilot programs, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement initiatives designed to expand patient access.
- Capture market insights and communicate reimbursement opportunities and challenges to senior leadership.
- Serve as a key contributor in preparing the organization for future product launches and commercialization initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, PharmD, MHA, Health Economics, Health Policy, or related field).
- 5+ years of Market Access, Reimbursement, Health Economics, Payer Strategy, or related experience within medical device, digital health, diagnostics, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Demonstrated success obtaining or expanding payer coverage for innovative healthcare technologies.
- Experience working directly with commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement pathways.
- Strong understanding of healthcare economics, outcomes research, and value-based healthcare principles.
- Experience developing payer value propositions and translating clinical evidence into reimbursement strategies.
- Ability to evaluate health economics data and craft compelling coverage and reimbursement narratives.
- Experience operating within larger organizations while maintaining an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both internal and external audiences.
- Ability to work independently, establish strategy, and execute within a growing organization.
- Background in neurology, neuroscience, behavioral health, pain management, or neuromodulation preferred.
- Understanding of emerging reimbursement models, connected health technologies, and digital health solutions preferred.
- Demonstrated humility, resilience, adaptability, and a strong desire to contribute within a collaborative culture.

Travel: Approximately 40-50% Domestic Travel
