Regional Sales Manager – Northern California



Are you prepared to spearhead a transformative era within the highly competitive spine sector of the MedTech industry? We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished leader to guide a high-performing team, cultivate new business opportunities, and foster pivotal relationships with key opinion leaders.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and optimize sales team performance to achieve strategic objectives.
• Proactively identify and qualify new business prospects through diverse channels including referrals, professional networking, targeted marketing campaigns, direct outreach, and lead generation databases.
• Identify and capitalize on strategic growth opportunities while nurturing robust relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the spine community.
• Provide comprehensive technical and clinical expertise, addressing inquiries related to surgical applications and techniques pertaining to spinal implants.
• Execute advanced troubleshooting protocols to expeditiously and effectively resolve complex technical issues.
• Formulate and define performance targets, providing data-driven recommendations to executive leadership for strategic decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in the spine field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), Degenerative (Degen) spine conditions, and/or Complex Spine procedures, with a strong emphasis on Orthopedic and/or Neurosurgical applications.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in spinal or orthopedic medical device sales.
• Prior experience in the management or collaboration with distribution partners.
• Capability to provide in-depth surgical support to surgeons during protracted and intricate surgical procedures.

Compensation: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Travel: 50%

Experience: 7+ years

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Location: Northern California (San Francisco preferred)
