Position Summary

The Clinical Sales Specialist provides clinical expertise, technical support, and educational training on the company’s interventional radiology products. This role partners closely with Sales leadership to support customer engagement, drive product utilization, and improve patient outcomes through clinical advocacy and procedural excellence.

The position serves as a key liaison between healthcare providers and internal teams, ensuring customer needs are met while delivering high-quality clinical education and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a clinical expert and advocate by influencing clinical decision-making through presentation of clinical data and product applications
  • Partner with Sales Managers within assigned geography to support territory objectives and customer engagements
  • Provide case coverage and hands-on technical support in interventional radiology and clinical environments
  • Deliver product training, in-services, and educational programs to healthcare professionals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, interventional radiologists, and hospital staff
  • Identify customer clinical needs, goals, and constraints; recommend appropriate solutions using company products
  • Support product adoption and drive consistent utilization within assigned accounts
  • Maintain a high level of product and competitive knowledge, including workflows and clinical applications
  • Act as primary clinical resource for troubleshooting and procedural guidance
  • Communicate market insights, customer feedback, and account activity to Sales leadership on a regular basis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Service teams to ensure customer success
  • Assist with order coordination and provide guidance on inventory management and control
  • Participate in local trade shows, conferences, and educational events
  • Develop and deliver presentations and coordinate programs with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Maintain accurate and consistent activity reporting and administrative documentation
  • Support territory business plans and contribute to achieving sales objectives in partnership with Regional Business Managers
  • Operate with urgency and focus to improve procedural outcomes and customer experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the healthcare or medical device industry preferred
  • Clinical background (RT, IR Tech, or similar) with training/in-servicing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting interventional radiology, radiology, or cardiology products highly preferred
  • Proven ability to deliver presentations and support clinical education initiatives

Compensation:

  • $170,000 base salary; $210,000 at plan
  • $1,000 car allowance
  • Full benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement
  • Additional incentives tied to territory and company performance
